Surviving
Retinoblastoma!!!
What is Retinoblastoma???
Retinoblastoma is a rare childhood cancer that affects
the eyes. It is mainly diagnosed before the age of 3. Most commonly, this
cancer is inherited and occurs in both eyes (bilateral). In some instances, the cancer is sporadic and will occur in
only one eye (unilateral). Once a child has been diagnosed with
Retinoblastoma, his/her chances of secondary cancers rise and he/she
has a 50% chance of passing this disease to future generations.
